There are many rumours going around regarding the release date of Persona 4 Arena in Europe. Most retailers have it listed for September 14th, This is INCORRECT.
After several email/tweet conversations with Amazon, Shopto, Zavvi, Pqube, and Zen United, we are fairly certain that the following is true.
Most online retailers believe they are going to be in possession of the game by the 14th of September (Shopto 21st of September). When we asked them to elaborate on this, they stated that "this is the most up to date information that has been received from the publisher".
When Zen United were questioned, they stated that "we are still waiting for a release timing from Atlus"
I think we can all agree that releasing Persona 4 Arena in September is probably a bad move. This is due to Dead or Alive 5 and Tekken Tag 2. If they are waiting for a timed release, how about anywhere in October? This would make sense as fans would get it in the near future and it would avoid the rush of games that are scheduled to be released in November/December.
One thing is for sure. Anyone who has preordered this title and expect to receive it this week, do not be surprised when you get an email from your online retailer stating that the release date has been pushed back once again.

I really do hope so. Thankfully, if it does come out in October, at least the game will have its hype revived.
Well... until then i'll play SFxT (offline with friends) and Arcana Heart 3!!
I need to try Arcana Hearts. I've been meaning to pick it up :)
GAME have updated the release date to 26th October...
@shinyemptyhead i really do hope that is the final release date. I don't understand why Zen won't make any form of public announcement about the games status.
